How often do you update Data?
Our data is updated several times per day and it happens right after the source releases a new update.
What is the source of Data?
Data is coming from various sources including but not limited to MaxMind, IP2Location, Geonames and a lot of various blacklists.
Which formats do you support?
At the moment we provide the response in XML or JSON, but let us know if you need something else.
How accurate the Data is?
We are using the range of reliable sources to provide the highest accuracy possible. IP Data is 99% accurate on the country level and 80% accurate on the city level.
How do I get an API access key?
You need to register to get your API key and make sure that you verified your email address in order to activate the account and the key. If you are logged in, you can find the key in the Dashboard and reset it at anytime.
What happens if my allowed volume is exceeded?
If you exceed the allowed limit the API will return 403 error until the new day starts. You can upgrade your subscription at anytime if you need more requests.
What if I didn't receive an email?
Unfortunately sometimes emails are filtered out and end up in the spam folder. If you still cannot find emails in the junk folder please contact us or use our live chat and we will do our best to help you.
Do you store API requests?
No, we don't store the actual requests you make through our API. We only store the number of the requests that were sent to out API for statistical purposes. You can find this information in the dashboard.
How can I pay?
We accept all major debit and credit cards from customers in every country and we use Stripe to process your payments. Please contact us if you want to make a payment via bank transfer.
Are my credit card payments safe?
Yes, we send all the payments details directly to Stripe and don't store or send this information to our servers.
Is the VAT charged?
- We add VAT, but only to the UK subscriptions.
- We don't add VAT to any purchase outside of EU.
- If you are from EU then paid subscriptions can be used only by companies and it is the responsibility of the company to pay the correct VAT.
What happens if my payment fails?
We will let you you know that the payment failed and will try to collect the payment again in a few days. If the payment still fails after 14 days we will automatically cancel the subscription and downgrade it to a Free Plan.
How do I update my credit card details or billing address?
Payment information and billing address can be updated via the Dashboard.
Can I update or cancel my subscription at anytime?
Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription at anytime. You will not be charged after your plan is cancelled, but the subscription will still be active until the end of the billing period.
